Construction details of the prototypes

In the image below you can see how the blades are synchronized.

The synchronization is done simply with two bevel gears (ratio 1: 1): one fixed on the static part of the machine (called jacket) and the other is fixed to the movable arm of the shovel which therefore rotates with the same angular velocity of the vertical axis.
